A Little Book...
established in 2008, A Little Book is designed to assist families in simplifying everyday challenges. Through real tips and suggestions from people across the nation, the company's guidebooks combine ideas for successful home management with opportunities for strong, family unity. In addition to its guidebooks, A Little Book strives to develop the necessary tools to assist in the implementation of these ideas.
With a little planning, preparation, and a tad-bit of patience, the rewards of life can be bountiful; and with a little effort,
the shared memories of your family can be abundant!
Janet A. Spiech, creator of A Little Book...
resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband and four children. After graduating from UCLA and enjoying a successful career in corporate communications and motivation, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom. Soon afterwards, she became an independent writer working on a host of projects including corporate brochures, short-stories, essays, etc.
The idea for A Little Book is a direct result of one family's struggles in juggling family with the daily routine of home management; in particular, handling the chaos during the dinner-hour. The friends looked to Janet and her husband for suggestions. Wishing to provide the family with some sound advice, Janet knew she didn't necessarily have a viable response--each family is different and each is unique. Curious to find out how other people tackle the mealtime, she soon began inquiring with family and friends for tips, which quickly grew into a nationwide grass-roots project. The result--a guidebook filled with tried and true solutions from people across the country. A Little Book is designed for families to pick and choose ideas to suit their lifestyle.
A Little Book plans to grow and create several guidebooks on a variety of subjects. In addition, the company will look to develop the tools necessary to implement the suggestions provided. At the core of each new product will be--
family focused ideas for the everyday!
